Letters of Recommendation, Continued

To Whom it May Concern:
We were introduced to Mr. Jesse Kushner and Professional Education and Respite Service through the ARC. We have received respite services through providers contracted through them and were interested in a male respite provider as our grandson, Joseph, is fifteen years old, physically maturing, and responds best to male authority figures. Both my husband and I were initially very impressed with Mr. Kushner’s thoroughness as he explained his policies and procedures when we interviewed him. As we completed forms and by the end of our meeting Mr. Kushner knew a lot about our grandson: his likes and dislikes, leisure activities, his medications, our solutions to common medical ailments, his eating habits, behaviors, etc. We felt very comfortable with this thirty year Special Education veteran and had already received positive feedback from others that have used him and new of him and the excellent work he does with children with special needs.
During our vacation we were in constant communication with Mr. Kushner, Joseph, and Joseph’s mother who lives close by. We also know that he was keeping detailed notes about everything that transpired. We were very pleased with the care that Joseph was receiving and this knowledge enabled us to relax totally on our seven day vacation. Joseph had a terrific time as promised by Mr. Kushner. The only concern we had as we received feedback was that Joseph would be so used to all the special activities (trips to Washington D.C., the pool a county fair, and numerous excursions to dollar stores) that he wouldn’t want us to return. Although, we knew our grandson would miss us, we were equally delighted that he was being treated so well and he was enjoying his special vacation away from his grandparents. It became very clear to us that Mr. Kushner is a very caring Special Education professional who truly wants the children he cares for and the client’s he serves to be happy and satisfied. In fact, he has done everything he said he would. He even cooks, made excellent meals for our grandson, and ensured that the house was clean and in fine order upon our return. We also liked the fact that he engaged Joseph in household chores and taught him some new skills.
It is without hesitation that we highly recommend Mr. Kushner and Professional Education and Respite Service to anyone who needs to go on a trip or take a break away for a couple of days. He will take excellent care of their children. Anyone interested in discussing Mr. Kushner and his service with us may contact us through the phone numbers we have provided him.
Sincerely,
Dorothy and Wilbert T.
