Letters of Recommendation, Continued
May 2, 2005
To Whom it May Concern:
It is my pleasure to recommend Jesse Kushner as Tutor and Respite Care Provider. We have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Kushner for a number of years as he has been our son’s teacher, mentor, and friend.Mr. “K” (as the students refer to him), utilizes numerous skills acquired through years of experience to bond with his students. I believe this relationship formed between teacher and student is the fundamental reason for success in Mr. Kushner’s classroom. Every child realizes that he or she is respected as an individual with unique needs, strengths, and weaknesses. Jesse is able to accept each person as they are, and work with that individual to move toward a better place. For some this might mean improving academics, while others might need to work on social or basic life skills.
One of Mr. Kushner’s greatest gifts is his ability to accept his students’ mistakes and uses them as lessons to make improvements. Regardless of the difficulty, Mr. K. is willing to help the student learn from his/her mistakes in an effort to mature and progress. It is crucial for compromised or disabled children to realize they are loved regardless of their disability or slip-ups, and Mr. Kushner is always willing to provide another opportunity for success.
Mr. Kushner is responsible and trustworthy. The consistency of a teacher is invaluable in the life of individuals who need regularity and stability to function. He has been steadfast in his commitment to his students, and is good at communicating with caretakers through both good and difficult times.
I believe Mr. Jesse Kushner will always be willing to extend himself to provide the best possible for students or others placed in his care.
Sincerely,
Felicity C.
