Letters of Recommendation

Several parents have written letters recommending our services. We have posted them so that you may familiarize yourself with our methods and capabilities. Copies of letters with names and contact information for verification are supplied upon request.

Our son, Daniel, has never been an easy child to raise. He has an emotional disability and has been placed in residential facilities at times because of his lack of impulse control, aggression, and his emotional reactions to life experience. PERS was hired to provide respite services so that we could get a break from our son and he could receive attention and participate in activities outside of the home that he enjoyed.

We have been very pleased with the services PERS provided for the last six months. They developed goals for Daniel to work on during respite sessions and have helped him with social behavior as well as academic remediation. PERS’ respite service is definitely not a babysitting service. Daniel loved the service and the attention he received. The staff was professional but knew how to relate to our son and handle upsets. They were firm but always kept their sense of humor. They also kept us informed of what activities they were going to do on a given day, as well as any problems or difficulties our son had during the service.

Although the service has been temporarily suspended due to another residential placement, Mr. Kushner, the President of the company is still involved and participates in team meetings despite the fact that he is not being compensated for this at this time. We are very appreciative of his continued care and interest in our son and family.

Sincerely,
Donna A.
