Professional Education & Respite Service LLC
Services:
- Vacation Respite
- Available to US citizens anywhere in the US or the World.
Can travel with the family or remain at home with your loved one. Enjoy a
week-end get-a-way or a full vacation with peace of mind and confidence that your
loved one is receiving quality care from a highly trained, experienced, & trusted
educator.
- All vacation respite services include as many hours of direct care as
needed and/or 24 hour on-call service. Educational/learning opportunities are always provided.
- Hourly anecdotal records of client’s behaviors, activities, and any related information
are available for your review during your vacation or upon your return.
- Vacation Respite services are available for week-ends, specific 3 & 4 day week-ends,
holidays and summer months.
- Scheduling is provided on a first come,
first served basis and is dependent upon service provider's availability.
- In-Home Respite
Extended hour respites available for a minimum of five hours per day. (Fewer hours are
available for additional cost per hour.) Educational/learning opportunities are
always provided.
- Behavior Plans
Specializing in severe, disruptive, inappropriate, and dangerous behaviors. An individualized
treatment plan can be developed, implemented and evaluated to meet the needs of you
and your child.
- Behavior Consultation
Meet with the service provider at location of your choice to discuss respite services, possible
educational, behavioral, vocational training, or in-home supports. Methods for isolating
problem areas and strategies to reduce or eliminate behavioral
difficulties can be discussed.
- Behavior Training
This service is provided in the home or at location where undesirable behavior is exhibited.
It is designed to improve the quality of life for all family members by assisting
both family and client.
- Vocational Training
This training can be provided as on the job training with a job coach, workshop
training supports on site or workshop training at home with vocational materials.
- Educational Plans
An individualized in-home educational plan that meets the needs of you and your child
will be developed. Implementation of this plan may be performed by a family member, a
PERS educator or combination of both.
- Transition Services
Prepares your child for leaving the public or private school setting. The service
includes academic, vocational, in-home supports or community life skills.
- Instruction
Instruction services include academic, vocational, or in-home life skills
(ie: housework related, cleaning, self-care, dining skills, etc.)
- Communication Systems
Specializing in non-verbal communications through picture exchange
systems, augmentative communication devices and has some experience with basic
sign language.
- Family Training and Support
Family members may receive training on how to perform any services provided to the client.
- IEP Consultation
Support provided for IEP development. Assistance also given in developing IEP recommendations for
you to submit to your IEP team. The service does not include attendance at the
meeting and can not be utilized if a PERS consultant is associated with the
same school district as the child.
